Alvin Chigaemezu Ikeocha

Pastor Alvin Chigaemezu Ikeocha is a gospel minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has served as the associate district leader of Ulakwo District and the later became the district leader of Port Harcourt Central District. Pastor Alvin has also served in the now defunct Port Harcourt Conference as the Public Relations Officer of the Ministerial Association. He currently serves as the Executive Secretary of the Port Harcourt West Mission, a member of the Credential Committee of the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference, a Civilian Chaplain of the Nigerian Police Force, Rivers State Command and an Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria. He is a dynamic and enthusiastic servant of God, dedicated to spreading the gospel of Christ to the world. With a diverse background and a combination of academic achievements and practical experiences, Pastor Alvin brings a unique perspective to his ministry. Born on December 25, 1985 and raised in an Adventist Christian family, Pastor Alvin has a deep love for God and a desire to serve Him. After completing his high school education, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at Babcock University. During his undergraduate years, he actively participated in various Christian groups on campus, leading Bible study sessions and organizing evangelistic outreaches. Following his graduation, Pastor Alvin realized that his true calling was in ministry. Driven by this conviction, he enrolled in Babcock University again, this time for a Postgraduate Diploma in Religion and Pastoral Ministry. This program equipped him with valuable knowledge and practical skills needed for effective ministry, skills like counseling, preaching, and leadership. Before he was called to gospel ministry, Pastor Alvin gained valuable experience working in various departments of Babcock University as office assistant, a work study program on campus that allows students work to support themselves while studying. After graduation, he enrolled in the compulsory National Youth Service Corps program and was deployed to the Command Secondary School, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s Military Barracks in Abia State, Nigeria, where he taught business-related classes. He also worked with Ikenga Oil Limited, Abia State as Marketing Manager. This diverse background enriched his perspective and gave him a deeper understanding of the challenges and needs people face in the secular world. It also honed his communication, organizational, and leadership skills, which he now employs to effectively connect with people from all walks of life. Driven by his deep passion for ministering to the world, Pastor Alvin uses social media to share inspiring sermons and thought-provoking biblical teachings, providing online communities with accessible, relevant, and impactful content, touching people of various demographics. His ultimate vision is to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel and to bring individuals into a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Alvin has been married to his beautiful wife Shepherdess Precious Chigozirim Alvin-Ikeocha since October 2020 and the Lord has blessed the marriage with one beautiful daughter, Eldad Chioma Alvin-Ikeocha.
